MEMIC Expands New York Office
Portland, ME, August 14, 2014 – Workers' compensation specialist The MEMIC Group has announced the appointment of two new underwriters to serve its agents in the state of New York.
Together, Steven Crobar and Margaret Templeton bring more than 45 years of insurance industry experience to the MEMIC team. As Senior Production Underwriters, Templeton and Crobar will be responsible for identifying areas of opportunity and growing new and renewal business. Templeton will work from the company's Albany office with responsibility in the Eastern corridor of the state including Long Island while Crobar will be based in Syracuse with responsibility in Central and Western New York.

Crobar is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC). He holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from LeMoyne College in Syracuse. Templeton is working towards completion of her Chartered Property Casualty Underwriting (CPCU) designation. She holds a bachelor's degree in biology from the State University of New York, Oswego.
