MEMIC Welcomes Safety Expert Jon Weddington
(Portland, Maine) - The MEMIC Group, a super-regional workers’ compensation insurance company, has hired Loss Control Consultant Jon Weddington.
Jon has more than 10 years of experience optimizing manufacturing operations. His background includes roles as an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager and Mechanical Engineer, where he improved workplace safety, streamlined processes, and ensured regulatory compliance.
"Jon is a welcomed addition to MEMIC and our Northeast team," said Eastern Region Loss Control Director Scott Valorose. "He is quick to form genuine connections and passionate about assisting policyholders while optimizing business operations."
Jon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology. Additionally, he earned certificates in OSHA 30-Hour General Industry and Lean Manufacturing Green Belt.
