MANCHESTER, New Hampshire, January 30, 2019 – Workers' compensation specialist The MEMIC Group has announced the promotion of Dustin Greco to Business Segment Leader to support the company’s continued growth of the small business market in the Northeast.

Greco’s territory covers New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island. He joined The MEMIC Group in 2014 and quickly assumed the role of a Production Underwriter responsible for new and renewal business production and profitability for New Hampshire and Vermont. Prior to MEMIC, he worked at a Fortune 500 recruiting firm specializing in manufacturing, hospitality, healthcare and pharmaceuticals.

Greco, a resident of Manchester, graduated from The College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources. He also holds two Associate’s degrees from SUNY Adirondack in Queensbury, New York.

In addition, Douglass Pitts has been promoted to Production Underwriter serving independent agents and larger employers in the state of New Hampshire. 

Pitts joined The MEMIC Group in 2017 as an Underwriting Analyst and was promoted to Underwriting Associate in 2018. Prior to MEMIC he worked at State Street Global Advisors and MFS Investments in Boston, Massachusetts. Pitts is a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston with a bachelor’s degree in both Finance and Management.

Both Greco and Pitts have earned their Workers’ Compensation Professional (WCP®) designation from the American Society of Workers' Compensation Professionals (AMCOMP).
