PORTLAND, ME, November 21, 2011–MEMIC is now offering policyholders a convenient, paperless way to view and pay their workers’ compensation premium bill online. This new service to policyholders is part of the insurer’s ongoing effort to enhance customer service and convenience. 

Through the online billing and payment offering, policyholders have the option of going green by avoiding the financial and environmental cost of paper bills, and they can save time by managing their bills online. Policyholders will be able to create a secure account to view and pay their MEMIC invoices, with options for paperless billing and e-mail notifications. Policyholders can make one-time payments, schedule future payments or arrange automatic payments, too.

Later in 2011, more online services and improvements are due to be unveiled. MEMIC’s online First Report of Injury, a form many employers use to file injury claims, has been overhauled for easier use, and premium audits will also be available online by the end of the year.
