(PORTLAND, Maine) -- The MEMIC Group has hired Bryant O. Turner as Senior Production Underwriter in the Southeast Region.

Turner comes to MEMIC with nearly two decades of experience in financial and underwriting roles, including as business development underwriter for ICW Group Insurance Companies in San Diego, Calif.; inside sales executive and senior account manager for Travelers Insurance Company in Chantilly, Va.; allied healthcare underwriter for Hanover Insurance Group in Reston, Va.; and other underwriting roles throughout the Southeast.

“We’re very excited to have Bryant join the team,” says MEMIC Territory Manager for the Mid-Atlantic region, Margaret Templeton. “His knowledge of the region along with his capabilities gained over years of writing business will complement our growing team as we expand.” 

Turner earned a bachelor’s degree in leadership and management from the University of Mary Washington, Fredericksburg, Va. He lives in Fredericksburg with his wife and 1-year-old daughter.
