PORTLAND, ME, May, 7, 2018 – To support safer workplaces in Maine, workers' compensation specialist MEMIC has announced the appointment of Barrett Parks to the position of Safety Management Consultant.

Parks graduated from the University of Maine with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology. He has worked as a logger, equipment operator, technical high school instructor and most recently for the State of Maine as an Assistant Engineer designing drainage systems. He is a Maine registered Engineer-in-Training, Certified Logging Professional and Commercial Driver.

Originally from Sidney, Parks lives in Woodland with his wife, Deena, and their three children on a small farm where they raise vegetables and pigs.
