Jim Keck is the Regional Vice President for the Eastern region at MEMIC. Well known for his great customer service, consistent communication and strong attention to detail, Jim is focused on creating a positive experience for everyone involved—from policyholders to partner agencies. As a trusted insurance advisor, he is committed to building long‑term relationships grounded in trust and mutual success.

Jim joined MEMIC in 2016 as a Senior Production Underwriter, partnering with Massachusetts‑based agents to cultivate new business. During this time, he grew the company’s Massachusetts agency book from $10 million to $20 million in total written premium over six years. In 2021, Jim was promoted to Territory Manager of the Northeast Region, overseeing underwriting operations across New York and New England (excluding Maine). In this role, he supported the region’s growth from $113 million to $141 million.

Jim began his insurance career in 1999 at OneBeacon Insurance Group as a personal lines claims adjuster before moving into underwriting in 2001.

Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing with a minor in Business Law from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts. He has earned his Certificate in General Insurance (INS), Associate in Commercial Underwriting (AU), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Workers’ Compensation Professional (WCP®) designations.

Active in his community, Jim coaches softball, is an avid Texas Rangers fan, and enjoys collecting sports memorabilia and cards.
